Everything is hooked up and working except...

I am able to control the LOR controllers through the USB dongle

I am able to convert the LOR sequences to xLights with no problem

When I try to play the sequence with the House preview all models play perfectly.

BUT... when I output to the actual lights it does control the lights but it is like the lights are plaing in very slow motion while the song plays at regular speed.  Completely out of sync.

I have it set up as a LOR controller  on Com 3 in the setup with 96 channels and the baudrate is set to 115200

I had a similar problem when I first tried running my imported LOR sequences.  I changed the line in the setup tab from LOR to OpenDMX.  That made things much better.  I am running 12 LOR controllers.

Did you have to convert all of the controllers to DMX and lose all of the effects then?

I have all G3 controllers, they handle both the LOR protocol and DMX, so I didn't change anything other than the setup tab line.  I didn't use any of the LOR hardware-based effects like shimmer, if you have those in your sequences they won't work in DMX mode.

The imported sequences for my old megatrees aren't quite a crisp as they were when I ran them in the LOR software, but I think that's a very small price to pay for the ease, flexibility and features of XL/NC.

I just ran into a very similar problem with my LOR controller on the LOR USB dongle.  I thought the "right way" to fix my throughput problem was to convert the input to a DMX input.  I will have to try the OPENDMX thing tonight!

Finally had the opportunity to hook up some test lights to my LOR CTB16PC controller--openDMX works like a champ!!!!!    Thanks so much for the reply.  I would have NEVER thought about that!!
