Megatree strands per string
« on: December 04, 2015, 10:14:17 PM »
I have looked around in the NC/XL manual and have searched the forum and I have not found an answer to this one--what steps do I need to take, to tell NC/XL I want to control my megatree LEDs in sets of three?   For example, in the arches model, you can select "# of lights per node"--I have my arches in sets of three so I have that set as 3 and it is working as I want it to.  I do not see a similar selection for the megatree model.  My megatree has 3m strips with 90 LEDs/90 ICs but I want to control it in groups of 3, as I did with my arches.  I think I have done this already by choosing 30 nodes for the "# of RGB nodes per string" selection box.   Is this all I need to do?  Or is there another step I am missing?   I was thinking maybe I needed to set "# of strands per string", but that doesn't seem right.   Thanks very much.

For 3 leds per pixel strips you want to use the "Tree Ribbon" model type to get that look.
