Pinkish
« on: December 06, 2015, 03:26:59 PM »
The lights I sequenced in XL and pasted into LOR are pink when I ask for white. I have good power/injection where needed and this is across a 3200, 2 -1600, a 400 setup and 4 w2812s. I do see pure white but not when all the pixels are on. I see white on my CCB's so it is not my cataract surgery, that just produces the halos. These are all pixlite driven and it could be that?  Any ideas here?

If these are 2811s there have been quite few posts on diyc and falcon that power needs to be about 11.8v vs 12v.

Running 5v and have between 4.9 and 5.1 on all 10 power supplies. DA_131 and XL test all come up pink with 255.255.255 on 25, 50, and 100 w2811 5v pixels. With XL and LOR so it has to be hardware. If it was power it would fade down the string to pink. Using HolidayCoro wire, some automotive quick connects and some without. Kinda looks like the controller?

I am seeing the same issue with the F16V2 on 12V WS2811 pixels. I have power injection on the back end of all my strings as well. Also If it was a power issue I would be seeing it start white and then go pink towards the end of the string which I dont see.

This is an issue where the pixels will "glow" red when uncommanded due to sensitive chips. Not the same as what he is describing.

I'm using Pixlites and have opened a support ticket.
