ChromaFlake and roof line effects needed
« on: December 21, 2015, 02:14:02 PM »
I was wondering if anyone has some effects they have saved that would work well for a snowflake like this and what are some effects that you have used on your roofline using Pixabulbs. Thank you in advance!

Problem with the chromaflakes is at night you can no longer tell they are snow flakes.  I need to also increase their angle on the roof as my roof is fairly low angle and that does not help either.

For color on the house I am using a fat pinwheel to spin the flakes.

Does anyone have any videos of these snowflakes. I am planning on an addition of 20 or so of these this year and am curious to see how they actually look in a show.

My chromaflakes look good at night and you can tell they are snowflakes.  Probably helps that they are in the yard with lights from the house providing back lighting.  However right now there are only lit up when doing whole house effects as they were a late addition to the show.

I would also love to see some videos since I'm thinking about adding 20 of these. If you light them up white with pure pixel white, I really don't see how they wouldn't look like snowflakes considering the light should reflect off the white coro.
