Looking forward to seeing this. I am now back in a position to do some beta testing so that will be of high interest for me.

At the moment we are not happy with the shape of the waveform so we are still working on that but you will get bars bouncing up and down. They will look better once we sort out a better fft routine.

I have a 6x45 matrix I used before as a tune to sign - can't wait to see this effect on it working.  Also would be fab if the piano effect got some TLC this year.  I'll have to go check github to see if that's in the hopper as a feature request or not (re:piano).

....and one day perhaps I'll go and try to figure out the code and contribute here vs just wish listing.

Yes, there is a open ticket for the Piano effect.  Something along the lines of do to piano what you did to papagayo.
