GE Color Effects Using 12V PSU

Can GECE lights will run off of 12v power? I want to run these from the F16v2

Not unless you use a dc converter to bring the 12v down to 5v. You will kill the string if you connect to 12v. Believe me I did it once on accident.

You could maybe push to around 6v (what the stock supply is) but not 12v
