I apologize. I should have given some instructions. LOL

When working with the models choose Custom. Add 50 for Height and 50 for Width. That gives you plenty of working space. Go to your excel sheet and choose the first model. Highlight and copy the cells with numbers. Select Copy. Now back in your Model section where you have defined the rows and columns. Place your cursor in Start Channel after the number 1 and hit ENTER. It should paste the cells in the graph on the right. You will see rows and columns not being used so just adjust the number to get rid of those. You can also enter the exact number of cells needed if you count when you are in Excel. Let me know how that works for you.

Hello,

The Wiki has a section for Custom models where some of the ones  that have been shared by people (including this model) are located.
(I need to check recent posts and fb messages for any new ones nd add them , as I have been away).

There is a section in the manual that describes how to use custom models

Anyone know how to get a custom model posted in the wiki? I created the Boscoyo Singing tree (it's in another thread) model.

How do you feel this compares to the HC singing tree? I have not made up my mind yet which to buy.

I have never bought anything from HC, so I really do not know the difference. The one from James at Boscoyo is made of nice ABS and is heavy duty. James is great to deal with (and local for me).
I never got a response from HC on two separate emails , so that pretty much did it for me with them. Take it for what it's worth..

You could post the file under the Wiki section of the forum and I'm sure Ed, Steve or Gerry will take it from there and get it posted into the Wiki.

Here you go.

Ron

These models are for the 48 pixel Boscoyo snowflake for pixels

There is also a snowflake I just got for testing (Boscoyo style #1) that has 70 holes. Slightly bigger snowflake and the holes are smaller for single color M5 or M6 type LEDs

Interesting. The layout I shared was for the 24" set of four ChromaFlakes. They each support 48 nodes.
