Opie Update

My first shipment will be here any day. It includes 32 pigtails and 2 CableGuard CG-1500 enclosures. I can't wait to test them out!!! I'll probably spend hours on the latch mechanism and just stare at the pigtails until I feel comfortable working with them. LOL!

When I started this journey I figured that was a good starting point which is what you might expect from a Newbie.

Today I ordered 10 of the same enclosures to give my F16v2 w Expansions a home and a place for my PSUs. Looks like each of the four location will have 3 boxes. That's easy for the ground but not so much for the roof. I don't want these puppies flying off in a storm and bringing down the whole show. I'll be engineering some good cabling and sandbags to hold everything in place.

The point of a journey is not to arrive. Anything can happen, right?

If the pigtails are both male and female ends, and have the little red rubber washer in them you will be spending hours with a little screw driver fitting the washer and make sure a solid and dry connection. Best to bring them into the shower with you, take them through a car wash and even leave a couple in pant pockets and accidentally on purpose run them through the laundry.

....this all of course after the hours staring at the of course!
