I have dug around a bit and am not able to find any "how to" info regarding pulling a gif into xl/nc.  Does anyone know where I can find something?  I have been trying to import a gif into xlights without success and I am certain I am missing something easy.  Thanks in advance!!

Check out Sean's how to videos on Vimeo.  I am sure there is info there.

I believe you are talking about the "Pictures" effect.  Select that effect, and choose an image file -- there are about 20 file formats supported.

Thanks Steve.  I didn't think about Sean's vimeo videos.  Doh.  That's what I have been trying--importing gifs & animated gifs into the "pictures" function of xl/nc.  But I have getting really funky results, so I figured I am missing something easy, which is usually the case
