Singing Faces
« on: February 27, 2016, 11:05:39 PM »
A few things here  I have made a Coro Moose head that will be addressing my Show. Possibility a Star or tree  with him. A few things in the singing faces. I can in single node but not in node ranges type in multi node groupings   118-124,130-145  It will not see the 130-145 group. If I hand pick, it will in single node. Very time consuming.
Also when closing the eyes or the mouth the LEDs will just go black and not fill in to the outline color.  The eyes would need 3 colors  Outline white, pupils black (off) and closed skin color. then would need to look right and left.  The same with the mouth. different lip positions, in white and skin color for all the lips not seen. it seems like the face definitions would need  4 columns 2 colors and 2 node placements.  then add in some user defined as my moose has hat ears antlers hat border and hat ball   My moose head is 6 feet tall and 149, 3 LED nodes.  447 LEDs  447 channels.

Here are a few pix of my moose out of coro. As of now I thinking I could light each of the different facial expressions and save them as effects. not sure of any other way as using singing faces does not fill in when changing expressions.  I will do separate models for the eyes(right, left, wink, and close)
same for the antlers.  am I missing something. A different way, easier of doing this?
