P10 Help

I posted this over at Falcon Christmas, but thought I would try here as well.

I had a heck of a time getting things setup.  Here's what I have.  I'm creating a P10 matrix 7x11, see the photo "P10.PNG".  This is the front view.  Two BBB's, one with 35 panels, one with 42 panels.  I basically set things up like it was landscape, then turned things by setting up in xlights as portrait, see "BBB2 Actual.PNG" and "Xlights.PNG".  This was the only way I could get things working.  I literally tried every possible setup in the FPP.

Every test I can do within the FPP seems to work as advertised.  I can even do an on effect in xlights for the corner pixels, to make sure mapping is correct.  This works.  I can use an on effect on every other vertical strand, this works.  The problem comes when I do an effect like bars, or butterfly.  The effect will work correctly only on the first 4 vertical columns.  I'm referring to a column as 7 panels.  So, from left to right, the first 4 work, the last one on one BBB will be scrambled... the last two on the other BBB will be scrambled.

Since the tests within the FPP seem to work and I can do simple on effects on various nodes on the matrix and the correct node lights up, but things seem to go nuts on effects like bars and butterfly, is it possible there is something within xlights causing issues?  I've tried 2016.13 and 2016.14.  I will also try other versions, even before 2016 and see if that makes and difference.

Any help would be awesome!

Thanks,
James

It looks like the issues I was seeing is somehow related to xlights to the bbb in bridge mode. I paid closer attention, and even on effects were "updating" very slowly after the 28th panel.

I played via the pi and didn't see these issues.
