Audio Waveform Height
« on: April 22, 2016, 06:52:49 AM »
Is there any way to increase the height of the Audio Waveform at the top of the sequencing screen?  The son I am working on the waveform is basically a flat line for most of the song and never reaches 50% of the height.  This is making it very difficult to add timing marks.  The same son in LOR is full height and the notes are clearly visible.

Currently we don't try to stretch the waveform.  Maybe the song doesn't use the top half of the range.  You could just open a copy of the song in Audacity and use the Amplify effect and save that copy for sequencing purposes.  I believe we already have a Github request for waveform height changes that would be needed to allow you to zoom it or us to auto-scale it better.

By the way why missed the "g" key 2 out of 3 times you typed "song". :)

Do you realize you can automatically add timing marks?

The best solution turned out to be using the amplify command in Audacity.  Thanks for the help.
