Transferring my models and setup to another computer

Hello everyone. Sorry if this is a dumb question. I have been wanting to transfer all of my models and setup to my laptop so I can work on my show on the go. Is there an easy way to transfer everything, or do I have to set it all up manually? For instance, all of my LOR setup is on one file that I just transfer to the laptop. Thanks in advance.

This question has been asked a lot and there are numerous answers.  But the basic thrust is copy your whole xlights data folder to the other computer.  There are lots of ways to accomplish that.  Some folks use a cloud folder, some copy across the network if both computers are on the same one, or use a flash drive.  I use a flash drive.  The key is to know what the correct files are once you have them in multiple places.  Once you have the whole folder you only need to copy any changed files.

If you only want the models and setup you only need the xlights_networks.xml and xlights_rgbeffects.xml. Then  when you start xlights you need to point it to the Show directory...a.k.a. the directory where you put those files.
