Importing LOR as Data Layer seems to have timing off

Another new guy question.  When I import my LOR Sequence as a data layer, it appears that the effects start about .5 second later than it should and stretched out.  I am clicking on the Settings Cog, going to Data Layer and then selecting my LOR file. I then click Import.  It is importing the right models.  The sequence pattern is right.  Just the timing is off and stretched out.


What am I doing wrong?  Here is a screenshoot?

So what timing duration did you pick for the sequence?

I did not see a place to select a timing option going through the Settings Cog.  Should I have used Tools, Convert and Selected a Timing Resolution?  I thought I found a short cut going through the Cog.  Or do you mean did  I have a Timing Grid selected at the time of import (ie Beats)?

I will experiment around with the different options.

Okay.  What I did to get it to work was to start a new sequence, picked 20 fps and then went to the Wizard and selected Import a LOR sequence.  It seemed to import fine that way.  I think from now on I can re-import using the Settings button.  I believe my mistake was not going through the wizard the first time.

Unless you manually created the xml you had to go through the wizard the first time you created the sequence.  I generally never do the import from the wizard I like to create the sequence first and then go to the Settings dialog / Data Layer tab and import.  I really thought it would import based on time and not frames so I didn't think the sequence timing would matter but I wanted to ask what you had created.  I guess it's too late for you to tell me now.
