is there a programmer/contributor specific board?

slowly working my way into getting a development environment going so I could possible contribute a couple small things back to xlights here.

Maybe I should make a video showing how to setup a machine and a second to explain how to create effects

You have some older videos up now sean, they helped a bit, but they are dated now.

being shown how to pull down the code, make a small change, compile it etc would be helpful as I'm out of date on the process.
