Seasonal entertainment - no response
« on: September 14, 2016, 08:50:34 AM »
I have a large consignment pending from www.seasonalentertainmentllc.com based out of NJ - Greg is the owner. No response to at least 20 emails sent over the last five months and their phone numbers don't go through. Am in a panic mode now. Anybody has a similar experience with this company. What is my recourse.

To the best of my knowledge, they went out of business several months ago. I would suggest you contact your credit card company or Paypal.

I thought I saw him respond on facebook weeks ago apologizing and saying he was trying to fill or refund all the orders.

All I see on his facebook page is a brief 'altercation' with a couple of customers ending with 'I will cancel and refund your orders'.
Looks like he has deleted the rest of the posts requesting info / refunds.

Yeah I see a risk like this in a lot of these small time DIY LLC's.  They are all formed by just one of us in the hobby that decides to try to make money off all the others and its usually a single point failure operation.

I got the bulk of my order at the end of June. Got all my pixels, psu's, and most of my cables. I'm still waiting on pigtails and some cables that I went out and bought from another vendor. Assuming that I'll need more for next year.

I also sent several emails, but got no response. I did hear he was trying to fulfull all the orders. Phone number is now out of service and the website store is not taking new orders.

That's not good news. Payment was made more than 10 months back so not sure how to trace this on my card.
