Snow Flakes Effect - all types look the same
« on: September 14, 2016, 01:51:33 PM »
I'm on version 2016.49, but I've noticed this periodically with other releases.  When changing the TYPE, the snowflakes look the same.  It used to be that type 1 was a single node, Type 2 was a diamond shape, Type 3 (or 4) was an L shape.  Now, all Types look the same as a single node.

I'm dropping the effect on a matrix which should be the best way to see different Types.  I've tried changing the Render Style from Default to Per Preview which changes from a single node to some type of randomness, but not the way the flakes used to look.

This was user error.  In the color picker I also had BLACK selected which is the color used for the "outside" pixels of the snowflake.  Carry on, nothing to see here, lol.
