Picture effect in 2016.49
« on: September 20, 2016, 05:56:51 PM »
When I try to use a picture, I browse for it, it's found and loaded into the effect settings but when I click on the effect in the sequencer the settings go away. What am i doing wrong. The pictures I am trying to use are from nutcracker/shared_images/

Click the effect first then choose the file.

I discovered this bug last week as well.  The problem is you are double-clicking the file to select it in the file browser dialog and the grid is interpreting that double-click and unselecting the effect and selecting wherever you double-clicked underneath the dialog.  The workaround till we come up with a fix is to single click the filename to select it and then hit the OK button in the dialog.

I don't know if it's just my computer or if this is a new glitch but when I tried to put a picture affect adjacent to another one on the timing grid the first one disappears when the second one populates into the timing mark. The new one has all the same settings and picture is the one that disappears so I just move it over and resize it. It doesn't seem to happen if there's a gap between them then it works fine

This is a different topic.  Start your own thread and post a video showing that behavior.

Gilrock,

I will try the single click. Thanks
