Older Versions Will not Open
« on: October 18, 2016, 01:08:24 AM »
Hey all,

I was trying to remove the .50 build and install .40 because in 50 I can not seem to get the copy row/paste to work and saw that it may be a bug.

When I uninstall 50 and install any version from 40 onward it does not open.  It shows it's running in task manager but no program.  I uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled etc and no dice.

I am running Windows 7.  Checked that everything is updated and such and still no luck.  Any ideas or anyone know if the copy row/paste row feature will work in an update?

Thank you!

What happens if you reinstall 50?

I'm using 50 and see no issues with copy/paste.

I think I had the exact same problem once. Xlights was running I think I had to right click on the icon that's on the taskbar and select maximize to get it to come up. I'm going from memory so don't quote me on that.

I forget which versions but you do know that some of our versions alter the saved model data and sequences in such a way that going backwards breaks things.  If you find a problem post the details of it.  Never go backwards.
