Is there a forum glitch?

I have noticed something repeatedly with the way the forum software behaves when I post to a thread, then use the back arrow to return to the list of new posts.  Instead of taking me straight back to the list of new posts, (like the other forums do) I am taken instead to all of the previous posts in that thread.  Is there a setting I can change, or is this the way it is?  Anyone else seeing the same thing?

Back arrow takes you back to your previous screen just like it does on any web page and your previous screen was the one you were looking at before you clicked reply.  I just click on the show new posts again at the top of the screen.  The home button on the keyboard takes me right to the top which is also faster than scrolling up.   Seems likes a faster process (most of the time).

Jim you are right.  What I meant was that when hitting the back arrow, instead of taking me back to the post I was looking at, it takes me to a list of posts in the topic of that thread, not the list of new posts that I had been viewing.  Again, this only happens when I make a post in an open thread, not when I am only viewing them.  The other Christmas Forums do not behave in that way.
