I strongly recommend giving these guys a donation to keep up there work. I'm sure there's costs involved in keeping all of this alive and I wouldn't feel right using it for free

I actually don't have a youtube page, I'm not that big/crazy with the lights... This is my second season. I just have a facebook page.

Megatree looks really nice, I'll have to watch the videos when I get home--work network isn't all that great at times.  I'm also building a pixel megatree this year, just started pushing all the pixels in the Boscoyo strips.  Figure I'll weld some black pipe up and guy it and hope for the best.

Ah the days in Phoenix...we lived in Surprise.  Good ole US Air Force had me there a total of 7 years...  Sometimes miss those gravel yards, but I like the grass here in New Hampshire  :)

I wish I had grass, I hate the rock. With the leaves falling, I can't get all the little flower buds out of it unless I vac /blow it out. Weeds, ya suck... if I had grass I'd just mow over them lol. I'm in east mesa, close to the lakes

I love the rock.  Hardly ever have to touch the yard.  They are called leaves because you are supposed to just "leave" them where they fall....lol.  But if you don't like it hey its AZ...just hire an illegal to clean it up.

gnatman, grabbed your xml of Pentatonix - Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.  Love your break down and timings!

I was going to add this song to my show this year and you just saved me a ton of time sequencing it, I will just use this and tweak it here and there! Thanks!

post a video/screen share when you tweak it. I always have a hard time making a show look less blinky flashy. I'm trying to less beat related effects.

Instead of blinking from one prop to another, run a single strand chase or morph THRU them.  It's less jolting.  With A/C props where your only options are on/off/fade it has a tendency to be blinky.  With control over every "bulb" you can move thru them and it's more smooth to watch.

Hello thanks for sharing. I downloaded and have the xml files. I go to open new sequence and and select the downloaded files and it is blank just the song no effects. Do I need to import? I still have a learning curve!

Thank you

First put the sequence and the rgb_effects file in a new folder.  You can use any networks file.  Then switch your setup to that folder and open the sequence.  You can not see anything in your own show folder probably because you do not have any of the models that are named in the shared xml.  To get the sequence to your own show you would have to import and map shared models to your own models.

Don't forget to render all, too.
