Need some help with Sequences
« on: November 02, 2016, 07:48:13 PM »
Hello all this is my first year with RGB and need some help with sequences. I'm better at building props and creative ideas than I am at sequencing. I am working on a 85 node tall by 16 strip RGB mega tree with a 4 channel 250 node tree topper.  Here is a list of songs I'm working on, anything you can share would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Are you just wanting sequences for the MegaTree?  Are there any other RGB props in your display?

Check this site out. They will help, for a small fee. The 16x50 sequences should scale nicely to yours.

Yes I checked those out before asking for help. Not a lot of money in the budget after starting the RGB mega tree.

If you are just sequencing a megatree (one prop) then you should be able to knock out something decent pretty easily using xlights with all the different effects it can produce. However, if sequencing isn't your strong point, then that might be a bit of an ambitious list with only 3.5 weeks to go.

Yeah that is quite a list, and generally unless someone is already doing for their show not going to have those ready to go.

I will say for the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, not sure what version you are wanting but gnatman has the Pentatonix version that he shared :

I'm working on Carol of the Cactus and hoping to have the sequence completed by Wednesday. Xlights makes the sequencing a lot easier than I expected, I just might make it by Thanksgiving. The mega tree went up today, hoping to test for the first time by Friday.
