Animated GIF not working in .52?
« on: November 11, 2016, 03:43:36 PM »
I can't get an animated GIF to work (scaled or not scaled).  I drop the effect on, change the file name and the first frame or two flashes and the rest of the effect is just black.  I tried a few different GIFs from different sources just to confirm.  Anybody else repro this?

I just tried one and it works.  I'd suggest you post the one not working.

Good idea.  Here are a couple of different ones.

Ok vult you can fix this one.  I sent it to Keith because he is the GIF animation expert and it turns out the problem is the filename.  When a picture file ends with "-1" we were treating it as a movie frame so we were looking for the -2, -3, etc.  Keith is going to make a change so that if "-1" is the only file available we don't try to treat it as an array of picture files.
