lost my setup

HI all . I have lost my setup info from my setup page, I was rearranging universe's when i added an extra 50 universe and doubled up on my  existing setup, i started to delete the extra universe (one by one- highlight and bulk delete would be nice). Next minute my setup disappears - no crash though. layout all still good, sequence still good.
Look at backups and slights_networks has been left as two lines only. go further into backups and can find full listing,
I copy backup version over old copy but no luck. setup doesn't recover after rebooting, any solutions please as i really don't wish to recreate the whole lot again if i don't have to,

We do have a bulk delete so maybe you accidentally used it...lol.  I can redo my entire setup page in like 5 seconds.  Click the Add E1.31 button....type in 61 universes...done.

Maybe i did : DOH!!. is their a way to recover from a backup file?
Yes i can make instant universes as well , but not with the  correct channel count,
(or does it not matter if each universe has 510 channels allocated even if you only use say 17 pix /51 channels out of that universe?

I don't try to exactly size my universes in xLights.  I guess I've never looked into it....does it even save on packet sizes?  I do try to pack my universes for all my Falcon controllers but not my other controllers that aren't as friendly.

You should just be able to copy xlights_networks.xml from a backup folder. Specifying smaller universe sizes does make your packets smaller. We do have bulk delete. Highlight rows and right click.

i understand the delete all tab does what it says, but i don't think you can highlight a block of surplus universe and delete them.
As for copying across the networks file , that doesn't appear to be picked up,
when xl4 is started up the the full model list appears and says channels can not be calculated, pix below, so not sure why it wont find the replacement file.
I will start a new setup and save and then copy over that to see of it's successful .

ps installed 53 and same result after copying over networks file, it wont pickup corrected file and keeps saying the same error message as pix below.
helps to put network file in the actual show folder - partially corrected my mistake, thanks again for help

You can select and delete a group of controllers.

again my mistake was using v50 and now v53 has this feature, thanks again tyoall help
