Hi,

I'm new to nutcRacker and have been using it for a week so. What I would really like to try and do is morphing like lor superstar.  Is something like http://youtu.be/HJH0PZFvZ3Y possible on nutcracker?

What this video shows is what we call a whole house model. Yes, it is possible.

I think we covered this in custom model tutorial from july

Ok - I've created my custom whole house model and it appears to work great. My problem is when i enable another model e.g. Window1 (which is also part of the whole house model) the whole house model then doesn't work. Any ideas?

If u have two models with the same channel range, one of them will be none, none the other will have a nutcracker effect

Thanks Sean i was entering just None so wasn't working.

Sorry 1 last question...

I'm making my full house model which appears to be going ok, but i keep questioning myself how it works?

How does the node numbers know which pixels/leds to turn on?

Thanks

With rgb nodes, the number represents lights. In other words if u have a start channel of 1000 in your custom model and you put the number 1,2,3 in the custom model. 1 is channels 1000,1001,1002. Number 2 is channels 1003,1004,1005. Say u are a lor user with 200 channels of ac. Those ac channels can be skipped and u start your custom whole house model at your first RGB channel.get a graph sheet and draw in your models. Or draw your house into an OpenOffice speak sheet. U must account for all channels. If you have 50 rgb nodes (150 channels) starting at 1000 and then your next model starts at 1200, u need to enter the appropriate node number

Thanks for the reply Sean :)

Can you have a look at my attached spreadsheet, I'm trying to make a morph across the whole house but i seem to be having problems with the top line moving in time with the windows colours.. Is it possible this way?

It shows ok on the preview...

Hope that makes sense?
