Help, I broke my xlights
« on: December 04, 2016, 03:23:53 PM »
running mac 53f latest and also gone back to 50 with same results.

I go to save and it complains after the rendering that there is a xlights error
can't write to file descriptor 11 (error 22: Invalid argument)

the xml is updated but only a small 124byte fseq is created.

Have you ever run the Tools, sequence checker?
Is this only on one sequence?
Can you start a new short one prop sequence and save?

duh, thanks Jim the check sequence identified that I was trying to play an effect after the end of the sequence. I fixed all issues found in check sequence but I am still unable to save. and and yes I can test with a small new animation and it works fine

Instead of save try save as and see if it works.  Might be something locking the file and not allowing a save/update.
