vu meter not going across a hole element
« on: December 04, 2016, 08:15:05 PM »
I am trying to use a VU meter effect on my display.  I have 5 columns (18 pixels long each) but when I use VU meter across the group I only get the first 4 columns.  Is there a way to get that to all 5 and get that varying up and down effect?  Or do I need to use a glediator file created in Jinx to get the desired effect?

Thanks for any advice.

Jason

Which vu meter effect. There are several. Have you played with the bars setting. Setting it to a value that is a multiple of the model width helps. Because it is a group the width is likely 400.

I think I worked it out I think.  It was just a group of 5 strings so I put them in a matrix and then I had all five in use.

I just have to work out the up/down of my matrix with the strings.  I'll probably just make a custom model since it's so small if I can't work out my string direction.  Haven't done a matrix before so I probably just need to look a little harder at the settings.

Thank you,
