Scheduler issues
« on: December 21, 2016, 09:14:32 PM »
I am new to pixels and xlights. I'm only running 325 GE 35 color effects off a E682 controller to outline my house.
Right now i'm only playing around with the effects and animation sequences. I've been trying to have a show of about 6 hours long so a developed six 1 hour sequences with 6 different effects. What happens is I schedule everything to start at about 5:30 and run on a random selection for 6 hours. What actually happens according to the play log is the first sequence starts and runs an hour then the second sequences starts and the play log says it is running but the lights are not on. What am doing wrong?

Can you play each sequence directly and control the lights? Is 'control the lights' enabled?

Have you rendered and saved afterwards to ensure the fseq has all the data you expect.

Dave: Yes I can play each sequence directly and control the lights. The out put to lights is enabled.

Keith: All fesq files are rendered and saved. I even too took each sequence again and turned off "render at save" in settings and used the "render all tab" and re saved all the files and it performs the same. Would a longer delay between sequences work? My other thought that it might be a GE 35 color effect issue?
