How to make timing mark in Audacity

I thought I would try  to make timing marks in audacity to see if that is easier than doing them in Xlights, but I can't figure out how to do it in audacity. Is there a tutorial that I can look at?

I don't know the answer to your question about Audacity, buy why would you need to when xlights can give you all manner of them in just a moment or two?

I'm with RandyS above in regards to using the functions inside xlights.   But to answer your question--Audacity has a "help" icon near the top right of the toolbar.  If you click on that it will take you to an online help/manual webpage.
