Always goes bad when I order lights

Yep here we go again. I have been ordering lights from Ray Wu for the last 3 years. Today was no different. I place my order call my CC company to tell them about my order so nothing goes wrong. This time Aliexpress cancels my order wanting pixs of my driver license , my CC and a CC statement.  Ok maybe if this was my for first order but its not. So Roger got my order for 3000 bullets and a few other things I found off Amazon.  Am I the only one with this kind of luck or is this normal.

I don't know what's going on with AliExpress.  My wife had the same issue trying to order something completely unrelated.  She wouldn't provide the info they requested so they cancelled the order.  So I ordered it and it went through just fine because I order AliExpress all the time.

Isn't it better to order from Roger anyway? From what I understand, he's selling Ray's stuff. I would much rather support someone state side.

You are right Lesson learned on my side. I was just looking for some 40mm 6led round disk but I can fix the ones I have.  I use 50 on my mega tree star  I close my account at Ali.

When I order from Ray I skip Ali Exp completely. Been doing it for several years with no problem at all.

I also order directly thru Ray. Four years,  17,500 ws2811 pixels, some bullets, some square, some technicolor,  probably more like 20,000 if you count what I've sold... hundreds, maybe thousands of extension cables and pigtails. Never an issue. I hate Ali but love what Ray does for me.

It is always best to use email to Ray when ordering and use paypal for the financial end.  I've done that for the last 4 years without issue.

Roger told me he has received from Ray and Paul.  When I asked it was in reference to P10 panels.  He said both outsource to multiple suppliers.

It is always best to use email to Ray when ordering and use paypal for the financial end.  I've done that for the last 4 years without issue.

I have also done this for years as the shipping will be less in the quote that Ray sends back to you. I have never had a problem doing it this way and Ray has been great to respond and ship.

I did E-mail him for a quote but he put the quote back out on Aliexperss. I had no idea that I could pay him direct.  The E-mail I got back from him today I guess He also is having a difficult time getting paid from Ailexpress.  So if one does use him I guess you need to spell it out you want to pay direct via paypal.

Yup, had the same thing happen when I ordered through AliExpress last month.  Ray had me Paypal him the money and I got the order in about 10 days.

Everything looks good so far.

Just a general FYI, whenever you ask Ray for a quote, and he sends you an invoice, it will have his PayPal address on it.  No need to involve Ali ever.

Ali puts the money in escrow until you confirm the order, right?
I know everyone says they have success, but with paypal is there any help is there is an issue?

and if you never confirm the order?  You have no worries with Ray. I had some strips that the silicone tube cracked/split after a year. I sent him pictures not expecting anything but he sent 3 new replacement rolls.

 he never sent me a quote just put it out on his site.  He has a spot for quotes in the middle of his product listing.
