Possible Bug

I'm using xlights v56 in windows 10. 

In the layout tab I am adding a model group.  when selecting models to add I noticed that other groups are available to add as well.  I have an existing group with 16 models in it that I wanted to be part of this new group so instead of adding the 16 individual models, I just added that group to the new one.  It looks like it works in the layout (all the models highlight in yellow as expected).  It's when I go to the sequencer tab and open the house preview I get strange results.  A duplicate of those same models is plastered right in the middle of the house preview screen.

I went back to xlights v53, there when I select to add models to a group the other groups are not available to add.

I attached my rgb effects file with the error.  I named the group Glitch Group and added two other groups into it 4'Trees All and 5' Trees All, totaling 24 individual models.

For now I'll just avoid adding groups into other groups and just make sure to only add individual models.

The "groups in groups" code (and related sub-models in groups code) is a bit experimental at this stage which is why we didn't advertise it as a new feature in .56.  The sub-models in groups stuff is a bit more solid, but still experimental.   The groups in groups is extremely unstable.   There are no checks for circular group references, etc...    I pushed a few fixes yesterday and today that will help, but it's still quite new and in need of more testing.

Same exact thing happened to me. Glad to know it wasn't something I was doing. Once this feature is ready it is going to make organization way easier! I love having a master group and then being able to drill down as much as needed! I can provide a file if needed too.
