upgrade control

I just had a long talk with Joe Hinkle of HinksPix lights. We went over the complete setup, looked at the Wire Shark info and into the controller soft ware as this is a beta version. I had all the IP addresses ok and the setup in XLights was OK. I did have one column incorrect, I had 50, it should had been 150, so it was changed. The big thing was a soft ware program was not correct. Joe changed it and the lights work properly with XLights now. Thanks for all your help as it also helped in finding the issue in the controller soft ware. Charlie J.

I got my controller operating. The problem was partly in my setup and partly in the controllers software as it is a beta version. I finally contacted Joe H. and thru Wire Shark and plain digging the problem was discovered. Some of the posts guided us in the process. Thanks  Charlie J.

This is the latest update to this message. I found that there was a software bug in the controller, it was not xLights. Joe Hinkle and I spent couple of hours tracing it down. xlights and the controller is operating good now.  Thanks For your help  Charlie J.

Hi all,
Did they release a new firmware upgrade of the HinksPix16?
My problem is whenever the devise is turnoff it goes back to 192.168.1.201 which i don't use.
I can't open the controller on the browser.
I guess firmware upgrade is must.
