Folder with sequences
« on: April 01, 2017, 08:12:36 PM »
My show directory and media directory point to the same folder......and if I open x-lights and ask it to open a sequence I started it shows the folder......but if I go to my c drive and follow the path, I get to the x-lights folder but it doesn't show the folder where my sequences are suppose to be. What am I missing?

First of all you shouldn't put your show folder there. But given you have I am guessing you are looking in the non x86 version of program files.

I am in the x86 program files.....as shown in the screen shot. Where should I put the show and media folder if not in the x-lights folder?

It is not possible to tell from your screen print if you have a similar named directory. The other possibility is explorer is hiding it from you for some reason. Time to go to the cmd prompt to see what is really there.

I created a new folder in documents and pointed xlights to it and after searching my c drive I finally located the folder that had what I had done so far in xlights. I had to go to users\myname\appdata\local\virtualstore\program files(x86)\xlights and there it was. Copied it to new folder in documents and all is well. Thanks for your time
