Hello,
I'm trying to make a model to import my 2 CCR's into XL. I have 2 mini trees made of 1 CCR strip each where the strip just spirals down a wire frame. I would like to use the Poly Line feature to create a zig-zag to simulate the trees. I plan to have all my LOR AC units on universe 1 and then the CCR's on universe 2. This would let universe 2 start at channel 513 and go to 1024. In LOR, I went in and changed my CCR setup to DMX channel numbers to match universe 2 numbers. When I run the convert test it shows that CCR tree 1 will occupy channels 513-662 and then tree 2 picks up the next 150 from there. The problem is when I create the poly line model (or even a single line) it initially shows starting channel as 1 and ending channel as 150 which would be the proper amount. However, when I put the starting channel as universe 2 and 513, it changes the ending channel to 1174. If I try to change it to universe 2, channel 1, it makes the ending channel 662. I have 1 stringer of 50 nodes set as RGB nodes. Anyone have an idea how I get it to keep only 150 channels of data used? I'm really confused as to why its good until I change the channel start number and then it makes the ending channel so much different.
Also, is my thinking correct that I select universe 2 with a starting channel of 513 and not universe 2 with a starting channel of 1? I'm going to run these off of a Falcon F16v3 with the setup above. Thank you for any help.
