Changing colors during CONVERT
« on: April 27, 2017, 10:54:58 AM »
I'm trying to import LMS sequences into the latest 64bit version (this happened in 2017.9 as well) and when I do a convert from LMS to xseq/fseq, 'red' keeps getting added sporadically throughout the sequence in all of my models.

If I create a new sequence and Import the data using data layers, the import works perfectly - it's only when I do converts that I get the extra colors.

Not sure how since the Convert and Data Layer operations both call the same function to import the LMS data.

I know bringing in data layers from LMS files had an issue with being off by one channel. For instance pixel 1 blue would end up being pixel 2 red and so on Down the Line. I ended up using -1 in the channel offset

And here's a picture of the good one without the colors getting added during the CONVERT process

Can you show me the Convert options you have before you hit Convert?

I have the LMS file selected, output format is Falcon pi player, all channels off at end, then map empty lms channels and show verbose channel map selected (map lms channels with no network is deselected) and 50ms.

So its trying to create a .fseq file right?  You mentioned xseq also but we don't work with those anymore.

If you have some type of shared drive where you can post the files I'd need to try this that's probably the only way I can investigate.

Which files do you want?  the source lms and fseq or just the lms?

No I don't need the fseq that's the output.  Source LMS, xlights_rgbeffects.xml, and xlights_networks.xml

Do you want to wait for .13 to come out and I'll try again or do you want the files?

Here I setup a filedrop if you can figure out how to put your files there.  I'm not really sure how you do it because I haven't used the feature as an outsider.  I've had some users that figure it out just fine and others say it doesn't work.  Anyways if you get the files loaded there it will email me a notification.
