This is my second year doing Christmas lights, I have  E682 San Devices controller, and I need to buy couple  more, I know that in this forum there are many  people with much more experience than me, and I ask for a suggestion to choose  the best pixel controller at the market. thank you.

The new Falcon F16v3 will be (for the time being) the best of the best.

Well as from all the replies you can guess what we all ok most of us feel.  I have been working along with you with your e682. I had one and gave it away. Now with all the distance issues you have had it will all go away. Just a few facts On that note I have seen on the F16v2 I can go 35 feet with 14gauge wire 50 feet on 18 and have done 65 feet with cat5, I do nothing but power injection. If you look they have a 4 port ext board (40.00 for the main and 17.00 for each receiver) that can go 250 feet. Those I like because 2 of them I put outside and if I lose one to the weather its only 17.00 not 200.00. setup up is much easier on the falcon as you can control each string and even partial strings on a port. Yes We have all ordered them and are now waiting until sometime in May to receive them. The matrix you made could almost run off one port you'll probity need 2 not 12. Its not just the savings of ports start to add in wire all the other things.  There is one more thing that goes with these controllers, all controllers is service. Dave, Falcon  his service all I can say WOW.....

It's more than just blinking lights. You will not find a better personalized support than with David at falcon. Yes, we all have opinions, I think the falcon board is clearly better than the others. But, I will continue to push falcon because David is just a good guy that deserves our business. So, when comparing, keep this in the back of your mind.

It is very interesting to read all these answers, as I can see you are very satisfied with Falcon pixel controller, and I agree, I have been reading about Falcon and I think it is a very good investment, I will take a lot of attention to all your recommendations,  thank you To all, thanks Jimmy for all your effort to teach me, I hope someday to know a lot like all of you guys . My standard mantra on this Christmas lighting stuff is that none of it is "rocket science", but if EVERYTHING isn't JUST RIGHT, it won't work!  Lots of little pieces that have to come together for success..  Welcome to the obsession.
