Crash Report Switching from Layout to Sequence

Xlight 2017.14
OS Windows 8,1

I was adding some floods to my show and have not configured the universe for them in setup yet.

I made a video of what I was doing at the time of the crash

please let me know what else you need

I can reproduce the crash with the official install from Sean but I cannot make it happen on any of my own builds so without that I have no clue for fixing it.

I'm sure that's why it crashes but we should prevent the crash.  It's just not crashing when I test it.

This bug was reported to Keith a few days ago, and he could not fix it, so flicked it off to someone else. The bug works on PC and Mac when you change the start channel to the #universe:chan or >item:chan and you then click to sequencer tab, but ONLY when the whole house window is open.

It's an old bug as it happened to me late last year too, while changing a few items from channel number starts to #universe:chan amd >item:chan setups, b ut I never worked out the actual cause until about 2 weeks ago while away sequencing

Nope, the channel allocation was done here prior to this, so that's not the cause. If you don't have whole house window open it wont crash, and that window can be docked or separate - if its open it crashes 100% of the time.

I considered that someone may have fixed it so I had reverted my workspace back to 2017.14 to try to reproduce the error and it still didn't crash.

I can cause the crash I said that in my first reply.  The problem is its only crashing in the official installation file from Sean.  When I try to rebuild it I'm not getting a crash.  I need it to crash while I'm in the debugger to get a good idea how to fix it.

Ill bild a new release and see if people can duplicate crash on 2017.15
