End a sequence with lights OFF
« on: October 26, 2014, 05:13:15 PM »
Hi, probably a simple answer but when I Auto-generate random effects I get left where sometimes the lights stay ON at the end.
I have tried putting "None None" in the Effects 1 and 2 on the last line but they stay on still.

Put Colorwash with 1 color=BLACK to turn off all lights on that model.

I also created a 5 second effect that i applied to every model. I save it and scheduled it at the end of my show to turn everything off.

If you have already "saved" the sequence with an effect in the last cell, then that data exists in the xseq file. Changing that last cell to "none, none" effectively preserves and protects the data. The black colorwash overwrites existing data with black (off). Granted, it is a fine point, but once you get accustomed to it, it makes sense.
