Thanks for sharing your sequences
« on: July 07, 2017, 06:47:42 AM »
Thanks to the many posters that have kindly made their sequences available, either free or by purchasing them, I’m grateful.  Although I’ve toyed with Xlights for two years, this is my first year giving it a real go.  For me, the learning curve has been slow; not because the program is hard, but there are so many options, so many different things to do, it takes a long time to catch on.  Plus like most of us, time is short, way too short.

After watching Sean’s and Keith’s videos about how to map sequences from one layout to mine, I’ve had really good success mapping effects.  I’ve also realized that your sequences are a whole lot better my made from scratch sequences.  The time savings is amazing.  Prior to understanding mapping, I was at the point where I was reluctantly ready to my previous sequences using standard AC lights.

Thanks again to all of you that have taken the time and effort to graciously share your sequences.

Thanks!!!
Joe

Hi Dabil,

O-----H......

Yes, I'm a central Ohio Buckeye; was in Columbus up until about a year ago, now we're in Pataskala, about 20 miles east of Columbus.

Sorry I don't have any video's of our previous display.  I purposefully didn't advertise to keep traffic under control.  About two years ago, someone posted a short clip of our display on a local suburb's Mom's Group FB page and the traffic increased substantially, to the point I was concerned it was too much.

thanks for saying HI.

Joe

Hey travisslaughter,  I'm glad to know of another light show within driving distance.  Hope you check out your display this year.  Go Bucks!!!
