Group doesn't start when instructed 2017.18 x64

I created a group for a model called Globe (made up of models top globe and bottom globe).  Single Strand is set to begin at 0 seconds but Xlights for some reason won't start playing the models in that group for 30 seconds (everything else works perfectly).  If I use twinkle for that group, it starts at 0 as expected, it's just using Single Strand that it has a delayed start. 

I've uploaded the avemaria zip to the same share as below so you can see if there's something wrong going on in there.  If I check the sequence, it doesn't have any errors.  Thanks as always.

That's because its an area I setup for uploads.  I can download it.

To understand why this was happening it takes knowledge of the render buffers.  So you had the model group Default Layout Mode set to "Grid as per preview".  That causes it to create a render buffer the size of the entire preview screen.  If you change it to "Minimal Grid" it will reduce the render buffer to be just large enough to hold all the models it contains.  With the larger buffer it took 30 seconds for the meteors effect to make it down the buffer to where the actual pixels reside.  With the smaller buffer they will show up immediately.
