E682 failed

I have tested several sequences on my mega tree this past week and then all of the sudden the communication from the computer to the unit is nothing. I have tried to access it with three computers. Checked the IP number on the test from the manual and it is the same. I am uncertain where to look from this point. I am new with this controller and thought I had everything working fine. Time is running out. I may just have to revert back to a small show with no mega tree this year. Pretty frustrating after all the hours of work put into building everything for a show with pixels. I am so discouraged I am tempted to just walk away from it all. Sorry for the rant but just wanted get it out.

Have you checked your cat 5 cable seems to me if it was working fine and then stopped it must be something simple with it, we all seem to overlook the obvious, start there and see what happens.

Don,
Thank for the reply, Yes I changed it and still did not work. They are both new cat 5 cables but that doesn'a always mean they are good even if factory made.

What is the status of the internal LED lights after it's been on for 20 seconds?
Have you reseated the ethernet module? Mine fell off the shelf once and.. well my module needed to be reseated.

It is now working after two days of frustration. The IPv4 address was wrong. Don't know what caused it to change on the computer but I had to go into networks and manually put it in. I possibly connected thru the WAN port and not the lan port causing problems. Not sure but with the help of some people who know more than I do it is going again.
Thanks for your input
