Setting up xLights on two computers
«

I have xLights installed on two computers. My sequencing computer in my office is 64 bit, while the computer in my workshop is only 32 bit. I want to use my workshop computer to test a model I just finished building. I have all my models set up on my sequencing computer, but I only have xLights installed in my workshop with no layout or models. What files do I need to copy from my sequencing computer to my workshop computer to have all my models available to test? Will I run into any issues with the 64 bit v 32 bit?
I am sure this is a basic question and I appreciate your help.

What?? Only two computers? I have it on my desktop and laptop, Also on my wife's desktop and laptop plus an old laptop in my workshop. Only issue I have had is with graphics cards and screen size. Bitidness (whatever that means) does not have any effect.

Yes, I have moved both the network and rgbeffect XML files. I see a list of models in my workshop computer, but not the layout and when I open the sequencer tab there are no models available.

Try setting open gl to v1 and if the models appear upgrade your video drivers and set it back to auto.

Keith,
I can indeed see the model in Preview by setting Open GL to v1, but I check for driver updates and there are not any available.
Options?

Three options make it work with the GL settings or update the video card( replace) or a whole new computer if there aren't drivers available.

Use the highest opengl version that works. It still should be ok just marginally slower.

Only works with v1, but I am just using this computer to test props, so slower is not a problem. Is this the reason I do not have the picture of my house in the background of Preview, or do I need to do something else to get that to show?

You need to copy your house picture over for that to show.
