Peanuts Sequence
« on: September 30, 2017, 10:27:19 AM »
[Problem in the XML File fixed 10/2/17]

I have an early Christmas Present for the group. This is a Peanuts themed sequence, built on the song Linus And Lucy.

I benefited greatly from the awesome Star Wars and Trolls sequences that Logan gave us in previous years and wanted to share with the community as well.

See a preview of the sequence here:

Download the xlights packaged sequence here (withouth audio file):

Music: Linus And Lucy, by the Vince Guaraldi Trio, From the Album A Charlie Brown Christmas (Remastered & Expanded Edition)

If you use the sequence, I would love to see a video of it adapted to your own show.

Thanks for sharing Rob.  I doubt I will use the sequence but I do like to view others' sequences and maybe use an effect or two.  Some nice Peanut graphics.  Great job

Sharing is what it's all about.  Thanks  I love this song and it was the first I ever sequenced to. Ok, so someone's first is not that good.  So time to re do. I'm going to use your characters and add them in.  I have been hanging all my house border lights, all new this year. It will be a few week before the sequence is done. I will post it then.

Very cool!   The Vimeo link works.

I'm slowly advancing on a Chipmunks sequence to share this year.    Thanks for showing me the adaption on your house.

Rob was kind enough to share this sequence originally and in keeping with the spirit, here is his work with my additions.

While I used Rob's work, I really find it invaluable in learning how to use xLights.  Two years ago, I was solely LOR, then last year LOR with some pixels.  This year, all pixels and making the jump to all xLights.  Looking at home people incorporated images, effects and how they sequenced groups and individual props has helped me understand how xLights works.

Hopefully, I can help pay it forward...  If you use it could you post your version here as well?  Thanks!
