Faces effect - Show Outline checkbox and Eyes:open/closed/auto not working

I'm running xLights version 2017.33 64bit and using the FACES effect on 8-channel Coro Singing Tree.

I have a timing track with lyrics and all the auto mouth movements are working.  But the Eyes option and the Show Outline checkbox don't seem to work.   I see mouth movements with no eyes and no outline regardless of how these options are selected on the effect.

As a test, put an ON effect onto the Outline or the Eyes at the node level and they work fine.  Its the settings inside the effect that don't seem to work.   Any ideas what I'm missing?

This is usually caused by selecting more than one color on the color palette and the additional colors are not compatible with the models node type.   Just select White.

Thanks Dan!   That fixed it 

I did have white as the first color, but there was a 2nd color also checked.
