Xlight Channels to Falcon 16V3
« on: October 31, 2017, 07:24:34 PM »
Hello All

I purchase a sequence from lilia.  I mapped it to my model layout. When I connect my lights to the 16V3 controller, it does not seem to be lighting up like it is showing in my house preview.

Any suggestions

Thanks in advance

Might be as simple as clicking on the lightbulbs at right side of tool bar in XL,
turn on the output to your controller,
if you have done that and no luck,
then can u post pix of your xl and controller setups and somebody will be able to help

Did you set up your controller configuration too?  You'll need to do that for the show to look right.

I did turn on the light bulb and the lights work, I don't think they are working like it shows in the house preview.

As far as the controller configuration, I did set up the 16V3 configuration using the E131 and that each channel has a total of 510. Was that all I needed to do with that?

Any other suggestions.

You also need to set up the string ports, so you know what data is coming out of each output on the controller.

Unless I'm missing a page all that shows is the Falcon port setup.  You need to show the xlights setup page and maybe the model layout page.

I had to take multiple screen shots for both the setup and models.

Let me know if there is anything else you need to look at.

If you have time tonight (wednesday), join the Zoom chat room (link below), and there are many that can help you.  Please have all your controllers turned on, xlights open, and be ready to screen share if you join.  If you can't join tonight, I can try helping you 1 on 1 another time.  It looks to me like you have lots of potential problems, and I am not sure trying to write them all here would be helpful.

JUst quickly, this is my 2 cents worth
1. you have doubled up on the universes, remove output 1 from XL setup U1-50
2. assign to each model the universe and start channel   ie arches U1:ch1
3 drop the ip address and set as multicast (if that's what you are using,
if  unicast then I'm dead in the water sorry)
Files below show my setup (which could be wrong but does work)

(Hope this may help)

Hello All

I am still looking for some one on one help with my layout.  I would even pay for it.

I purchased a sequence from lilia, mapped it to my layout but when I run it, the lights are not lighting up like they show in the house preview.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
