Ability to show current Time and current Weather either in TEXT or separate effect.

suggestions
current time can be polled from current pc or nist.time.gov
current weather can be polled from wunderground.com using api key

Where exactly do you want this?

If it is xSchedule which is the only reason I can think you would post this here then adding the time sure ... the weather ... not a chance. But all the APIs exist for someone else to build it and get xSchedule to display it. Much like FPP doesnt include it but someone built a plugin to do it.

Damn we are good ... just looked at the xSchedule code ... and date and time is already there.

Would you like us to add tomorrow nights winning lottery numbers?

That would be substantially less flexible
