Queen Mary Vamp with Mac
« on: November 22, 2017, 04:48:17 PM »
Hi,
I have put the plugins which I have downloaded directly from the Vamp website. I have put them in the correct folder ( /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Vamp/ ). However, they are not showing up in xLights.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

I just tried the same thing and it seemed to work fine.   My guess would be a permission problem on the files.  Can you do "ls -lart /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Vamp" and post the results?

I've quit the program, I've rebooted my Mac. I just can't get this to work!
Anyone else have any ideas?

With the help of a user on a different forum, I have been able to find out the issue.
Here is the fix that is very simple, yet it never really says. When copying the Vamp Plugins into the user library, you must also copy them into the system library.
2 seperate places it has to be copied into. I had tried both, but separately.
Thanks you to  everyone who tried to help.
