Mega Tree Freeze/pause during Sequence

What are some possible reasons that i could look at as to why my Mega Tree would freeze/pause for 1 second or so throughout sequences?

I Run 2 AlphaPix 16 on it on its own subnet without internet running 32 universes with power injection every 4th string of 65.

If your running wireless, could be a wireless dropout and it runs out of data. More info please.

That isn't a huge amount of data for the AlphaPix to handle, so what is sending the data? Is it from an FPP (Pi or BBB) or direct from xLights?  If you are using an Ethernet switch, is it some old 10mb switch or a newer 100mb or Gigabit? 

Do you have other controllers in your sequencing and yard that might be powered down and generating errors because they can't be found?
