Testing issues
«

I am new to RGB and am trying to get test lights to work. I am using E1.31 AlphaPix. I have set up the correct IP addresses. I did make sure the light bulb was lit when I tried to test and nothing happens.
I have been working on this for 3 weeks and need help bad.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you,
Scott

Way too little information there to help. Why don't you jump onto the XLights zoom call. There should be folks there the rest of the evening that can help.

First thing, test from the controller. If that doesn't work, it doesn't matter what you do in xlights. So, do the lights work when testing from the controller?

Thank you for helping me with this. I have them working now but this morning I have a major issue. My house layout and all my controllers are gone from Xlights. I have been trying to figure out what happened. Is there a way to get it back? I really do not want to set it all up again.

They are not gone, they are just not being displayed. Did you change the preview in the layout? Try changing the preview in the layout window to default or all models. Default is usually the one you want.

Most likely you have changed your show folder and now need to change it back.
