Models in Nutcracker into Whole House
« on: November 09, 2014, 08:20:52 PM »
Feeling frustrated as I have a few LOR controllers running in DMX mode that are not translating the RGB commands  well into the whole house set up.

I have them set in the nutcracker sequence editor to match the RGB output colors properly, setting them as an RBG node.

When creating a whole house model, it seems to want to default to RGB... am I not saving something properly in the whole house model? also have tried offsetting DMX address, and arranging the RGB that way, still no work around... Whole house mode defaulting those RGB strips to represent the wrong color output.

normally your controllers adjust the rgb order for youy. Normally we create rgb models.
If your controller cannot adjust color order you can build xlights models in other orders
rgb
gbr
bgr
.etc.

Once the whole house model is created, what happens when you edit that model and change the default RGB  to match your RBG?

U can't edit whole house models, we blocked it in 3.6.2. U need to get your controller to do it or we unblock the edit screen

Since it is so easy to create a whole house model you can just click the button to create a new one.  I would just be careful to use the exact same name so that anything you have already created would still be useful.  I tried a test creating a model called WH test and then created it again using the same name.  The xlights did not ask me about overwriting an existing model so be careful with your names.
